On Pursuit of Life
I've been writing since I was ten, starting with kid fiction, then ventured into novels, drama scripts, poetry, magazine articles, and research journals. I read a lot; novels, fanfics, newspapers, magazines, medical textbooks, history books, research journals. I love discovering new knowledge and the excitement when you realize that your knowledge does not even encompass 1% of the knowledge in that particular field is real. From all these discoveries, I write to express my feelings. Currently, I am more focused on article writing, research writing, and fanfic. I am paid for my article and I have a medical magazine that I write occasionally. Research writing is for myself, and life satisfaction. As of date, I have published three pieces of research; cold agglutinin patients on CPB, Dexmedetomidine as ICU sedation, and QT prolongation post cardiac surgery. The latest active and ongoing research is about medical fraternity stress and anxiety during the Covid-19 pandemic, which occupies a lot of my time. But I am passionate about it and hopefully, I can get it published. As for fanfic writing, it's totally a hobby. I don't get paid for it, and I don't get any publishing. However, I'm happy and they're super satisfying!
